The USHA scholarship

We are impatient optimists working to reduce inequity.

We decided to give out two $500 scholarships to students from George Washington High School. Please see the form below to apply. Have your recommendation letters sent to joseph.arora@gmail.com.

Wonder why we call it the USHA scholarship? USHA is the name of our Aunt that taught us and had a huge positive impact on my brother and I as we were growing up. Her kindness and compassion towards others is something we wanted to carry on.

• Applications open starting January 15th
• Application deadline is April 15th
• Two Scholarship Winners will be announced on May 15th
• The scholarship awards are $500 each

• Must Submit one letter of recommendation from someone outside of your family
• One-page resume

Requirements:

• One Scholar will be a GW Senior going to any college
• One Scholar will be a GW Senior attending any trade school or starting a business, or pursuing a life experience that will further their education.
